This patent-pending, solar-powered roof fan retrofits into an 8" metal NorWesCo RVO38 roof vent. The fan snaps inside the vent and the solar panel is attached to the top of the vent hood. An ideal ventilation choice for any home that does not currently have any powered roof vents and your home already has the NorWesCo vents installed on their roofs. Trapped heat and moisture in one's attic, not only diminishes the comfort of one's home environment, but they also reduce the life expectancy of your entire roof and your insulation. CONTENTS OF THE RETROFIT KIT: The Solar RVOblasterTM Kit comes with a 3W solar panel attached to a two ball bearing, 2700rpm, 39cfm fan that is rated for 50,000 hours. The fan is attached to our patent-pending Solar Blaster bracket which snaps into a NorWesCo 8" RVO38 metal vent (vent is NOT included).
